This month play with movements that feel good, repeating and tweaking them in different ways, and building style that feels like you. We’ve got a full menu of workshops and series, including the Valentine’s Intro Striptease + Intro to Lap Dance workshops as a double feature option!

February is Freestyle Month!
Each month at Cleveland Eclectic Dance, we focus on a different skill, style of dance, or body part across our regular classes.
This month at CED, we’re focusing on exploring movements and phrases that feel good in our bodies, and guiding students toward finding different ways to repeat them, tweak them, chain them with other movements, and build a style that feels authentic to each person.
If you’ve ever thought, “I don’t have a style,” this is your month. Style isn’t something you’re born with and it’s not something you have to “figure out” by copying an instructor or influencer. It grows through play, repetition, and noticing what feels natural in your body.
Same move, different vibe: slower or faster, sharp or soft, bigger or smaller, grounded or floaty, eyes up or down, breath shifting the whole mood, hands changing the story. Tiny tweaks can completely change how a movement reads and feels.
And no pressure to perform. This month is about experimenting, listening, and finding your version. Whether you’re brand new or you’ve been dancing for years, get ready for all kinds of exploration.
