The 2025 class schedule is live, and we’re spending the last bit of 2024 leveling up on our opposite side in preparation!

Schedule your 2025 classes!

We have released our weekly class schedule for 2025!

2024’s expansion on specialty classes went so well that we’ve once again changed the weekly class schedule to allow for more series and workshops.

You have also made it clear that you would like more 101 courses so that you can get comfortable with the basics in each style of dance before moving on to the weekly classes, and we have a bunch of 101’s scheduled out to start the year!

Click the blue button to find the Classes page of our website, where you will find the class calendar, then use the arrows to navigate to the 2025 schedule.

It’s Dark Side December

Each month at Cleveland Eclectic Dance, we focus on a different skill, style of dance, or body part in all of regular classes.

This month at CED, we’re focusing on training your opposite side. For polers that usually means their weaker side or non-dominant hand; the dreaded “Dark Side.” We will spend the month working to fix any imbalances that you might be creating while poling, and work backwards to make sure you have core moves on both sides.

Having a “bad side” isn’t limited to pole. We will be challenging our lesson flexible and/or side all month long in our Dance & Fitness classes. This may mean learning turns both ways, training splits on your bad side, or learning to lead with your non-dominant side in moves.

For pole students, we are offering a short workshop to help you with this goal.

Training for the Dark Side
Thursday, December 19th 6:15-7:15pm

In Studio Only

“You do not yet realize your importance. You’ve only begun to discover your power! Join me, and I will complete your training! With our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict, and bring order to the galaxy.”

Ok, maybe not that dramatic, but Lisa can certainly help you get that move you just can’t get on your “Dark Side.”

In this special Dark Side December class we will be identifying moves you need to master on your “Bad Side, “Opposite Side, AKA “Dark Side;” then we will learn the exercises you need to use to be able to master that move on both sides.

This class will involve examining common pole progressions and identifying where you are on each side so that you tailor your training to the level each side is actually at.

This class is open to pole students Level 2 and up.

This class is $20 per person, and is included on all Pole Flex Passes and Unlimited Passes.

Additional Specialty Classes & Series

Grind & Shine: Feel Good, Move Strong
Wednesdays, December 4th-18th 7:15-8:30pm
In Studio Only

In this 3-class workshop, we’re looking at hip grinds beyond being just a “simple booty move.” This is about mastering hip isolation that strengthens your pelvic floor, improves body control, and feels incredible. Dismiss this move at your own risk – it’s a powerful tool that boosts fitness and mood but is also a staple of stripper style and many other dance forms.

Master the Technique – Hip grinds are more than they seem. Learn how to control your hips with precision. We’ll break down grinds in standing, floorwork, with a chair, or even using a pole or wall. Each of these will be taught separately, giving you a full toolbox of moves you can connect later with practice.

Strengthen and Support – This isn’t just moving your hips for fun. You’ll isolate key muscles to build strength and stability throughout your lower body and pelvic floor, enhancing your body’s overall function.

Feel Good in Your Body – Moving your hips can release built-up tension, negativity, and even shame that we carry in our bodies. It’s not only a great workout but also a way to reconnect and feel more at ease in your skin.
Boost Your Dance Skills – Whether in pole, burlesque, belly dance, or just for yourself, hip grinds are essential. We’ll explore how to use them in different styles and settings.
Oh, and Lap Dances – And of course, you’ll pick up a killer lap dance move with a few ways to use it on someone else’s body.

We’ll focus mainly on stripper styles of grinds, but you’ll walk away with skills you can use anywhere. Heels are optional, socks and knee pads highly recommended for floorwork portions. Wear whatever gives you freedom of movement and makes you feel amazing.

Note: Using grids with the pole and in some tricks will be addressed as appropriate to each student’s individual pole experience, but there are no prerequisites. This is not a pole class.

Open to anyone ready to grind & shine!

This series runs Wednesdays, December 4th-18th 7:15-8:30pm, and is $50 for all three weeks.

Lap Dance & Striptease
Sunday, December 8th-December 10th 10:15-11:45pm
In studio only

Build a private routine to wow your significant other. Dance techniques, setting up the space, striptease tips, and up close and personal moves. The perfect class if you want something to take home for you and your partner.

You will learn how to strip out of the clothing you have on, so you’ll need a base layer that does not come off. We recommend a bathing suit as your base since the clothes you are taking off will slide easily over the bathing suit. As far as the outfit you will learn how to strip out of, we have a set routine with the following:
Bra (back closure)
Panties (2 pairs)
Skirt
Men’s button down long-sleeved shirt (we have some extras you can borrow)
Tie

Even though we have a set routine using those articles of clothing, feel free to wear anything you want to learn to strip out of. For instance if you have a certain outfit you want to learn to strip out of for your next date night, then you should certainly bring it!!!

This class is $25 per person.

Instructor, Dahlia, standing side profile full body view, with one leg up on a chair. Wearing a black pinstripe button up shirt, and pulling out the buttons with a seductive gaze.

Pole 101
Thursdays, January 2nd-23rd 6:30-7:30pm
In Studio & Online

New to pole? Has it been a while and you’re looking for an opportunity to start again? This four week series will have you confidently dancing by the end of it!

The focus during class will be on spins, holds, and dancing around a fixed point – aka, the pole.

No matter what you think your strength is like, moves can be modified to match your individual fitness level. (Yes, this means they can be modified in multiple ways to many skill levels.)

THIS CLASS IS NOT REQUIRED FOR JOINING OUR WEEKLY POLE CLASSES, though this workshop is intended for those that want to learn with others that are working on Pole Level 1 moves exclusively.

This class will be simultaneously offered in studio and online, so be sure to choose the correct option at registration.

(A safe home pole is required for the online option)

This series is $80 or 15 tokens for all four weeks, and is included on all Unlimited Passes.

Dance Like a Stripper
Sundays, January 5th-February 9th 2:30-2:30pm
In studio only

Come join the Stripper Style army at CED! This is an untamed and explicit 6 week experience that will have you rolling your body, shaking your booty, and loving your body like no other class out there.

This series is intended for those who want to explore this style of movement for various reasons.
Confidence
Body Awareness
Sexual Agency
Self Ownership
Expression and Erotic Artistry
Fun

This is not necessarily a class for getting a job at a strip club, but we will certainly support you if that’s where you want to go with it.

By the time the 6 weeks is over you’ll be ready to take it to a stage, and we will provide that stage. After you finish the series we will hold your graduation!!!! We will turn CED into a mock strip club, complete with club lights, fog, and play money to rain all over you.

This course is intended for ANYONE 18+. All kinds of stripping can be explored here. From the mainstream strip club styles, to alternative adult entertainment. All genders, and the exploration of gender expression, are welcome!

Do you need pole experience? NOPE! Not at all. Pole Dance may have come to us from the strip clubs, but pole is not required for stripper style dance. If you know pole tricks already from other classes, then you can use them in your performance. If you don’t know any pole at all, you will learn everything you need to know that would still be more than a newbie stripper auditioning in a club for the first time. So don’t worry about any lack of pole skill.

All you really need for this class is to be ready to step outside your comfort zone and challenge yourself.

Dance Like a Stripper is a complete series course meaning all 6 weeks of class are REQUIRED. You do not have to participate in the graduation club night, but we highly recommend that capstone experience. If illness or something else comes up to where you need to miss a class we will do our best to catch you up for the next week. There are no refunds for missed classes. Please be seriously committed to the full series before signing up. Contact us with any questions or potential schedule conflicts you would like to check with us about before signing up.

This series is $125 or 23 tokens for all six weeks plus graduation, and is included on all Unlimited Passes

Lyra 101
Mondays, January 6th-27th 6:00-7:00pm
In Studio Only

Lyra 101 is a 4-week series designed for the aerial-curious! This class is all about moving with and on the lyra – an aerial hoop rigged from the ceiling – and how that may differ from other activities such as pole.

Great for total beginners to dance and fitness, as well as those looking for a thorough review of basic lyra techniques, this workshop will adapt to meet students at their individual level.

Expect to interact with the lyra through introductory conditioning exercises, gentle spins, climbs, static poses, and combos.

No prior experience with dance or fitness is required. Upper body strength is not a requirement for this workshop, as hoops can be hung low to accommodate beginner fitness levels.

Please wear:

– long yoga pants or leggings so that skin is covered

– form fitting clothes, so that excess or baggy fabric does not get stuck

The series is $100 or 18 tokens for all four weeks, and is included on all Unlimited Passes.
