Focus on the “structural bridge” of your full core that supports how you move. We’ve got a full menu of workshops and series, including HIIT for Core Support, Butts& Guts, and Body Waves & Rolls, as well as our pleasure-centered “Beyond the Movement” classes.

Trade the Madness for Arch Abness!
Welcome to March! This month, we’re diving deep into the architecture of your body, the entire core that connects everything. Whether you’re looking to solidify your spins, find more fluidity in your flow, or support more strength in your daily activities, this month is about building a foundation that supports every move you make.
In this edition:
- What is “Arch Abness”: Why your core is more than just “abs.”
- Featured Classes for the Month: HIIT, Butts & Guts, and Body Waves.
- Beyond the Movement: Reclaiming pleasure and internal awareness.
- More Specialty Classes & Series: starting in March thru April 15th
What is Arch Abness?
When we talk about Arch Abness, we’re looking at the whole trunk of the body as a structural bridge. It’s that deep, functional connection between your abs, back muscles, and pelvis (including pelvic floor) that makes every other movement possible.

If you’re a regular in our pole or lyra classes, you’re already using this “arch” every time you brace for a spin or pull into a climb. This is a great month to cross-train a bit and strengthen these skills with some off pole approaches. One class I’d like to highlight if you’re working on getting or staying inverted is Grounded Inversions. It’s a great way to build that upside-down confidence and bracing strength without the height, making it a game changer for our aerialists.
The same goes for our grounded dancers and floor dwellers. Stepping into a series like Pole 101 offers a brand-new way to connect to your core by learning to stabilize and strengthen while moving around a vertical axis. Sitting, posing, and learning to get in the hoop in Lyra 101 will target these areas in yet another beneficial and challenging way as you find your balance in the air.
No matter what your ‘home’ discipline is, our body center is where we generate our power, but it’s also where we tend to carry a lot of physical and emotional holding. While HIIT for Core Support is designed to help you tap into that functional, explosive power, I also really want to encourage everyone to try Inner Landscape for the internal ‘release’ that allows your external strength to actually shine without all the unnecessary tension from below.
This month, stepping away from your usual apparatus or practice to see how a different perspective can make your favorite ways to move feel brand new. To help you branch out, our Featured Classes this month and those mentioned above, are accessible points for everyone to bring some Arch Abness into your movement practice.
Featured Classes for the Month

Body Waves & Rolls

Mondays, March 23rd-April 13th|
7:00-8:00pm
In Studio & Online
From head to hips, we’re breaking down the mechanics of waving spines and rolling hips. These movements can be done standing, with the pole, on the floor, full body or isolated to just the one part; we’ll explore all of these for polers, burlesque dancers, belly dancers, and everyone with a spine.
This is smooth, slinky work—but it’s also deeply functional. Body waves build spinal mobility, coordination, and a serious brain-body connection.
Beyond the Movement
Our sensual, erotic, and sexual health directly impacts how we move in the world and how we take up space. These offerings create a space to decenter the external gaze and the performative pressures that so often dictate how we show up. By shifting the focus from how your body “should” look to how it actually feels to you, they allow for reclaiming a way of moving and being in the world that is driven by your own internal experience.

6:00-7:00pm In Studio & Online
