We’re already booking summer parties in Pole, Lap Dance, Striptease, Burlesque, and more! We’re also going into Freestyle February with several new sexy classes.

Book Your Summer Party!

We’re taking reservations through the end of the summer for birthday parties, bachlorette parties (or divorce parties), or just a fun night out for you and your friends!

Choose from Pole, Lap Dance & Striptease, Burlesque, Belly Dance, Lyra/Aerial Hoop, or one of our Pole Combo options.

Parties are available in 60 and 90 minute options, and can accommodate groups of 5-14.

If you have a particular date and time in mind, we recommend reserving at least a month in advance. All party reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance.

It’s Freestyle February!

Each month at Cleveland Eclectic Dance, we focus on a different skill, style of dance, or body part in all of regular classes.

This month at CED, we’re focusing on guiding students in finding their freestyle flow.

In our pole classes, no matter what style of pole you love to do, we will spend parts of class with drills and exercises to help you figure out how to chain moves together to develop your own way of moving around the pole. This works well in all of our dance classes! So get ready for all kinds of freestyling this month.

To help you get more comfortable with pole freestyling (while actually having fun), we’ll be offering a weekly Pole Freestyle & Games class every Monday in February at 7:45pm.

“I can’t think of anything to do, my mind goes blank, or I just freeze”

Is this what you say whenever your teacher tells you it’s time to freestyle? This class will give you the extra fluff you need to put things together, and feel confident while freestyling!

We will work on getting to the floor, floorwork, and getting up from the floor. You will learn some patterns to keep in your head to keep you moving.

We will play some games as well to work on putting a few things together.

Freestyle is feasible with practice, practice, and practice!

PREVIOUS POLE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS CLASS. This is not a class for those brand new to pole.

Each class is $20 per person, and is included on all Pole Flex Passes and Unlimited Passes.

Upcoming Specialty Classes & Series

Lap Dance & Striptease
Saturday, February 3rd 12:00-1:30pm
In Studio Only

Build a private routine to wow your significant other. Dance techniques, setting up the space, striptease tips, and up close and personal moves. The perfect class if you want something to take home for you and your partner.

You will learn how to strip out of the clothing you have on, so you’ll need a base layer that does not come off. We recommend a bathing suit as your base since the clothes you are taking off will slide easily over the bathing suit. As far as the outfit you will learn how to strip out of, we have a set routine with the following:
Bra (back closure)
Panties (2 pairs)
Skirt
Men’s button down long-sleeved shirt (we have some extras you can borrow)
Tie

Even though we have a set routine using those articles of clothing, feel free to wear anything you want to learn to strip out of. For instance if you have a certain outfit you want to learn to strip out of for your next date night, then you should certainly bring it!!!

This class is $25 per person.

Instructor, Dahlia, standing side profile full body view, with one leg up on a chair. Wearing a black pinstripe button up shirt, and pulling out the buttons with a seductive gaze.

Prior pole experience is recommended for this class. We will only be covering the stand cross ankle pole climb in this class.

This class is $20 per person, and is included on all Pole Flex Passes and Unlimited Passes.

Lyra Choreography
Sundays, February 4th-March 10th 2:30-3:30pm
In Studio Only

Lyra Choreography is a class for students interested in adding musicality to their lyra practice. Instead of focusing on how to get into various poses, this class will be dedicated towards learning transitions between poses, moving with intention to music, and making a pose last. Desired prerequisites include comfort with hocks hang, delilah, back balance and front balance; however, anyone interested in combining their existing lyra practice with dance is encouraged to join. Modifications will be made to meet students where they are at.

Please plan to wear form-fitting clothes covering knees and thighs, and bring socks for spins.

Class 1: Discussion, goal setting, song selection, and play

Class 2: Spin conditioning, “hoop walking”, and floorwork

Class 3-6: Choreography and active discussion on modifications

THIS SERIES IS CURRENTLY WAITLISTED. Your card will automatically be charged if you move off of the waitlist.

1. Bring your own cane if you already have one.
2. Buy a cane which you will receive the 1st day of class and get to keep for $15
3. Rent a cane for $5 which you can take home during the course.
(Rented canes must be returned in good condition and by the final class. If these conditions are not met an additional $10 will be automatically charged to cover replacement the day after the final class.)

*Students signing up with a pass or membership will show a separate charge within a few days of signing up to cover either the prop purchase or rental.

Butterfly to Ayesha
Wednesdays, March 6th & 13th 7:15-8:15pm
In Studio Only

Turn your spit grip upside down! Butterfly and Ayesha require the same skills so you can start learning shortly after you start getting upside down on the pole. But there are variations of Butterfly that won’t help with Ayesha. Unfortunately, many students learn those variations first, to then later struggle with Ayesha. Set your progressions up for success!

This specialty class is a deep dive covering what you need to know to progress on nailing a textbook Butterfly that also sets you up for a solid true grip Ayesha. We will start with the anatomy which reviews the key muscle engagements, and the biomechanics where you will learn the theory about how the gravitational and leverage forces come together for balance. We will look at common alignment and engagement errors, and how to correct them.

Then we will spend some time on the poles, beginning with assessment and practice on Butterfly looking at the entry from both outside leg hook, and inverted caterpillar. We will then move on to shape variations in that grip that bridge toward building and improving the core bracing and balance needed for Ayesha.

Each student’s current progress will be assessed, even if that is still a Butterfly, and suggestions given for improvement. Strength and Conditioning exercises will also be given, also with exercises that you can do when you are away from a pole. Students who are working on Ayesha and already have Butterfly are welcome. This is both a Butterfly and an Ayesha class. I will give each skill we discuss the appropriate portion of class time based on the current skill levels of the students in attendance during class.

Pre-requisites: You MUST have either a solid outside leg hook (from either an inversion or a “walk down” from Jasmine to get inverted), or you can have a solid inverted crucifix (where you can place your hands in true grip position and push your hips up to “sit on the ceiling” in the position that is the beginning of a caterpillar climb.)
Do not worry if you have not started working on Butterfly officially as long as you have the pre-requisites above. Please contact Roxi if you aren’t sure about this class.

This class does not cover Handsprings or Ayesha grip variations.

The class is $35 for both weeks, and is included on all Pole Flex Passes and Unlimited Passes.

Do you dream of being the sexiest fish in the room? Wanna add some dynamic zazz to your floorwork arsenal? Come learn the art of the flop!

From pole assisted to free standing, fish flopping your way around the pole or stage can add the intensity you’re looking for to your routines.

Pole experience is not required for this class, but some familiarity with floorwork and shoulder rolls is a must.

Please be sure to bring knee pads and a shirt that will cover and protect your shoulders as we roll across the room.

This class is $20 per person, and is included on all Pole Flex Passes, Dance & Fitness Flex Passes, and Unlimited Passes.

Stripper Style Night
Saturday, March 9th 7:00-9:00pm
In Studio Only

Stripper Style Night:
Part 1: Learn some moves in a Stripper Style Class. 7:00pm-8:00pm
Former stripper and Dance Like a Stripper course instructor, Roxi, will give you a 1 hour crash course in stripper style movement, getting in character, and feelin’ yourself. There will not be any pole tricks taught, since just learning a pole trick can take half the class time. We will go over how to hold onto the pole, walk around it, and use it as a prop for posing as well as getting up and down off the floor. A small combo putting moves together will be taught. We will end with a game about how to get comfortable remixing that combo and adding your own moves, which will lead you into part 2 of the evening.

Part 2: Now it’s grow-up playtime! 8:00pm-9:00pm

Let loose with what you’ve learned and it in an uninhibited space complete with low, club-like lighting. (This is open dance time. You do not have to stay the whole 2nd hour.)

We are there to create a supportive environment while you get freaky in our open practice time with all the club lights on and music up. Roxi will be happy to answer some more questions, give you more suggestions, do a couple demos, but this is not about teaching. The best way to learn to be a stripper is to start moving and playing like one. We are there to provide that space for you with the music and lights, and lots of encouragement.

Heels are not required but always welcome. You also may want knee protection if you like a lot of floor grinding.

This event is $25 per person.
